Back To Venus Slots

No need to leave the planet to play this slot game. If it sounds familiar, that's because it's a sequel to It Came from Venus. That proved popular among slot fans, so it was only going to be a matter of time before we spotted a sequel.

And here it is. Let's see whether Back to Venus has just as much going for it as the original.

Developed by the same team

The original came from Betsoft and this one does too, of course.

Check out the 3D demo

The game looks superb, even though that plant has huge teeth. The 3D elements are stunning in this one. The game includes lots of varied features, so the demo gives you a chance to see how everything pans out.

The same theme is in action

The story of the guy trying to rescue the plant and send it home in the original game continues here. Could this end up being the second in a series of episodic slots?

A superb design

The design is outstanding. There's only one obvious letdown and that is the appearance of letters and numbers occupying the cheaper spots in the paytable. They could at least have tried something a bit different there.

Get started playing Back to Venus

The game uses the 5 x 3 format. No progressive prizes are added to proceedings, though.

The asteroid is wild, and better still, it is a sticky wild. They stay sticky for two spins of the reels, and this applies to all wilds. The only reel a wild icon cannot appear on is the first one. This may occur on a losing spin, too. This is called the Flowering Wild Boost.

The wild and asteroid wild sound a little confusing to start with, but a few practice spins should give you the hang of how it all works.

Watch for a rocket to appear as well, labeled as the bonus symbol. We'll cover the purpose of this later in our review.

How many paylines are there?

There are 20 in the game, all shown on the paytable. They're fixed too.

Bets to choose from

Your bet must cover all the lines, but the smallest one is just 20 cents. There are other wagers to scroll through as well, with the largest of them being $20.

Paytable information for Back to Venus

The paytable is available to read by selecting the info icon. You'll spot it just below the first reel of the game. It explains what you need to know about the special features and symbols in the game.

Bonus features in Back to Venus

First, let's cover the Prickly Stick and Respin feature. This randomly occurs whenever a symbol is selected to become sticky. This only occurs on a losing spin. Respins continue until you receive a prize connected to the sticky symbol.

Free spins can be won with the rocket symbol

You must find three rockets to blast off with 10 free games. Asteroid wilds are always sticky in these games, with extra wilds more likely to appear. If you find four scatters to unlock the games, sticky asteroid wilds are used with multiplier wilds potentially appearing as well.

A good RTP is on offer

It reaches an impressive 97.07%.

Play for amusement today

There is plenty of that around in this slot game, that's for sure.

Will you switch to the real thing?

That's up to you, but we'd recommend you try the demo before you make up your mind.

You can play on mobile devices as well

The game is big enough on action that it looks great on tablets and smartphones too, based on Android and iOS.
